Giving Back to the Trail System

The Market To Market Relay would not be possible if it were not for the work of the Great Plains Trails Network and the Eastern Nebraska Trails Network. These two organizations have done an amazing job of creating a trail infrastructure throughout eastern Nebraska. The master plan for the Mopac Trail, used by the Market To Market Relay for roughly 30 miles, is to connect Omaha to Lincoln using a continuous trail. The completion of the Platte River footbridge in 2007 makes this goal one step closer to reality.
Teams and sponsors are strongly encouraged to donate additional money to these great organizations. Your team or organization can do this by simply adding additional donations during the registration process. Teams that donate extra money to these organizations will be recognized throughout the race with a special sticker placed on their race day bibs.
